The 82nd Lotto Zesdaagse Vlaanderen-Ghent will also see Belgium’s best para-cyclists in action, in collaboration with G-Sport Vlaanderen and Special Olympics.
Wednesday will see top athletes with physical disabilities such as Ewoud Vromant, Louis Clincke, Jarno Thierens and Niels Verschaeren. They will ride a time trial track lap, 500m and 1000m time trials, and 2500 metres pursuit against a strong British delegation.
On Friday, the Kuipke will be the arena for riders with intellectual disabilities in the Aedifica Grand Prix, a time trial over 1000 metres. Aedifica is a Belgian company specialising in offering innovative and sustainable real estate concepts to health care operators and their residents across Europe.
