Benjamin Thomas is the first of 24 names on the participants list of the 83rd edition of the Lotto Zesdaagse Vlaanderen-Ghent. The 29-year-old Frenchman is the Olympic Champion in the Omnium and is currently considered the most versatile track cyclist. Lotte Kopecky will also appear at the Kuipke in Ghent in a month’s time. The World Road Champion will be the eye-catcher at the annual Ladies Cup for two days.
From Tuesday 12 to Sunday 17 November, the Kuipke will once again fill up for six days for the Lotto Zesdaagse Vlaanderen-Ghent. With Benjamin Thomas, the Six Days can announce a big name. At the past Olympic Games in Paris, the Frenchman impressively blazed to gold in the omnium. In 2017 and 2020, Thomas was also World Champion in this discipline. Furthermore, he has two world titles in the Madison and a world title in the points race. On the road, Thomas won a stage in this year’s Tour of Italy.
The names of the other participants in the Lotto Zesdaagse Vlaanderen-Ghent and whom Thomas will pair up with at the Kuipke will be announced later.

In both disciplines, she was crowned World Champion in 2023. In addition, our compatriot is also the reigning World Champion on the road.
