Moritz Mauss and Tobias Müller regained the lead of the U23 AVS Cup during the fourth evening on Friday. The Germans have a total of 76 points, after winning the Madison and other races.
It was the Germans Mauss and Müller who won the first points sprint in the first Madison of the Six Days of the Future ahead of the Italians Stella/Fiorin and the Swiss Constant and Guillet. It was a decisive moment. The three pairs fully opened the throttle and put the rest of the pack one or more laps behind. The victory in the Madison ultimately went to Mauss and Müller.
In the subsequent time trial lap, Thibaut Van Damme and Witse Bertels once again took the lead with a time of 8.857. The Germans Mauss and Müller clocked in at 8.929.
In the general classification, the German duo once again took the lead from Van Damme and Bertels. There are still three pairs in the same lap. The Swiss Matteo Constant and Arthur Guillet have moved up to second place with 46 points. The Italian pair Davide Stella/Matteo Fiorin are third with 41 points.
Former leaders Thibaut Van Damme and Witse Bertels follow in fourth place, one lap behind the leaders with 71 points.
