Not Bryan Boussaer and Martin Mollerup but Britain’s Zach Bridges and Sam Watson have taken the overall win in the AVS Cup at the Lotto Six Days of Flanders-Ghent. They managed to beat the Belgian-Danish duo in the final madison.
During the 240-lap event Bridges/Watson took control, despite Boussaer/Mollerup starting with a lead of one or more laps on the rest of the field. Bridges/Watson managed to get onto the lead lap and took the win by virtue of scoring more points. Denmark’s Malmberg/Frederiksen finished third.
Bridges/Watson succeed the tandem Bryan Boussaer/Jules Hesters as the overall winners of the Future Six Days.
