After the opening day, Belgians Thor Feyaerts and Witse Bertels are the leaders in the U23 AVS Cup, the Six Days of the Future, thanks to their brilliant performance in the time trial.

In the second points race, Witse Bertels gathered 2 points, but in the track lap, 20 points were added in one go. Bertels and his mate Feyaerts clocked in at 28.387 in the time trial, beating Italians Stella/Costa and Brits Hobbs/Gill.

The 22 points of the first day give Feyaerts and Bertels a 2-point lead ahead of Nicolas Aernouts and Thibaut Van Damme, who scored the maximum in the points races: Aernouts won the first, Van Damme the second. Third place in the AVS Cup is provisionally held by Stella and Costa with 12 points.
